I do not like leaving bad reviews but I am shocked and in disbelief that this practice has refused to treat me! I have been using this practice since my childhood but this practice has lost all the concept of what is meant by good customer service. The receptionists attitude and tone was extremely rude when I called today. A couple of years ago I had a horrendous experienced where one of the locum dentists made an error with my filling (it was a nightmare!!!) but luckily this was rectified by a very reassuring lady dentist from the practice (I don’t remember her name but she was genuinely good). I now live in London and see a dentist here (especially after the experience I went through with the locum at The Old Vicarage) but I do still book to see Emma the hygienist when I am in town as I liked how she worked and the costs are cheaper than in London. I called today to make an appointment only to be told that I am being refused to be seen! ‘Apparently’ this is due to 2 missed appointments (one allegedly back in 2016 and one recent) which I had no clue about but sincerely apologised if this was the case. I explained that I did not receive any text messages which normally the practices send and maybe there was a miscommunication somewhere. Despite apologising and asking what I can do to be seen by the hygienist I was told that I will no longer be seen here. It’s a shame but to be honest I would rather go to a dental practice where staff are NICE!
