Stunning , went in Jan it was cold but great to walk around . Fantastic views over Dartmoor and Exmoor . Honesty box to pay as all shut except gardens .

Brill. Very. Very nice young lady in reception hut, who made us feel very welcome and made excellent sandwiches to order. Grounds setup with routes to walk and make your way up to the castle. Overall \Sarah\ I THINK was the ladies name, led onto a great walk where we would definitely go again. Sarah, thank you very much you are a credit and great asset.

Lovely grounds to explore with fab picnic spots along the way. Friendly and welcoming staff. We spent a good few hours here and kids thoroughly enjoyed it, and a lovely cuppa to top it off! We'll definitely be back

Beautiful place to go for a walk, they do an offer where you can use your rhs card for one entry on a certain day. Such picturesque views ! Free parking, small cafe with drinks and cakes. Areas to sit and rest. Shaded areas. Well worth going for the spectacular views !
