If you love craft beer, you HAVE to visit this place. Lovely staff, great selection of craft cans and beer on tap. In my opinion, The Crafty Beer Shop is the best place in Barnstaple to get a proper beer. Many thanks Lisa

Absolutely wonderful find. Came here for a ‘lock in’ on a Friday night, where we’d booked the inside table and were met with the most incredible food platters, showcasing some outstanding local cheeses, meats and nibbles. We then chose the beers we wanted to try throughout the night from the huge range on display, each of which was served to us by the lovely owners who had exceptional knowledge about what else we might like to taste. The service was faultless - we were so, so well looked after and nothing was too much trouble, including serving incredible vegan food platters and mixing up off-menu cocktails for our designated driver. Also looked to have a great range of local gins on the menu, although we barely scraped the surface of great beers first. The absolute best place for a nice and friendly evening drink in Barnstaple. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!
Crafty beer shop is fantastically novel, sitting in the street on a peice of fake grass drinking Passion fruit martinis takes some beating. Owned by a lovely couple and we'll worth a visit. Amazing choice of drinks.
A great, local, really friendly shop. Lovely range of beers. I’ve got two of the bundle packs so far and have not been disappointed. They are more then happy to help with your choices. I’ll definitely be ordering again. Cheers guys
Lovely selection of top quality beer. The new bar addition for Thursday to Saturday nights is great, with two tap craft beers and a range of gins to choose from. A small section of outdoor seating is lovely in the summer, and the olives and chips with each beer help them go down. Regular events including meet the brewer and gin tasting, with the excellent stoned pizza company next door for the hungry.
