I started getting into hornby model trains and went into youings model store. The man working there was very helpful and there lots of models to look at hope to get the mallard from there soon

We noticed this model shop whilst having a coffee in the hotel bar opposite, so went in to investigate. Even though Youings class themselves as a department store, it's really a cluster of different shops under their combined ownership. The model shop has its own independent street entrance, as well as can be accessed internally via their toy shop department. As can be seen in the photos I have uploaded, the shop is packed with stuff. This includes plastic model kits, Hornby Hobbies products of Hornby model railways, Scaletric cars, Airfix kits and Humbrol paints. I also noticed the Welsh company Dapol railway products and Graham Farish N-gauge railway stuff. It was also nice to see the very high quality plastic kits and paint from the Japanese Tamiya company. There was no sign though of this shop selling boat, flying model kit or RC stuff. Please LIKE if you found this review helpful, thank-you.
