Food combinations were a bit different, the food itself was great. The service was fantastic as well. Expensive is its only negative. In an old cosy pub with a great beer garden.

A bit too dark inside and drinks took a little while to come out when it wasn’t even that busy. The food is however very tasty! I would suggest the outdoor area only.
I was disappointed that the food we ordered did not come out together. Two of us had our food and 2 were eating by themselves whilst 2 waited. I hated the online ordering and payment system. My food however was very tasty the mocktail was really a slushy and my husband hated it. Service disappointing in regard to food delivery. The waitresses were lovely
i was really excited about this place, but it was a huge let down. Really not great. The brisket was in a grey sad cold slab and tasted strongly of liquid smoke. nothing seemed like it was smoked. The ribs had so much bbq sauce, there was nothing else to taste. Ive never written a bad review before, but that should say how disappointed i was.
Great selection of foods on the main menu. You have to access the menu via your mobile phone. The atmosphere was great and the heritage building is gorgeous. The meals were great with generous portion sizes for shared platters. Definitely a great place to meet with family and friends
Took my grandfather for his birthday and it was amazing! The kids cheese burger was wonderful and the adult mains drool worthy. Dropped a star because the menus were on mobiles only and there were no printed / laminated copies or board so had a bit of fun with the oldies
Had the pit plate and the chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles were excellent but the BBQ was a bit hit and miss. I found the brisket to be the most disappointing and was actually quite firm. I had to give it a good go with the knife and chewing it wasn't that easy. The pulled pork and chicken wings were better.
Partner and I came over an hour away to come here as it's somewhere special to us. Waited 30 minutes for our drinks which was wrong, waited another 15-20 minutes for it to be corrected. Waited another 45 minutes for our food for it to be soggy and tasteless. The servers were nice but the overall service was terrible. Would never come back and definitely wouldn't recommend ever again.
