Excellent Service. Fast Friendly. I asked for lots of soya sauce with my order. we ordered for 3 people and the lady there gave me exactly what i requested and didn't charge extra for taking extra sauce. Other places charge you. when the food was ready on time they called to see how far we were. I highly recommend this place and the food was amazing. When in Barrie will go back for sure

Normally you get either quality food or a large amount of food. You don't get both. With Chef chan you get both and I mean a HUGE serving ... the food is quality. You can tell everything is cooked separately which is not always the case with Chinese Food. Vegetables were crispy noodles done perfectly, shrimp was good. This is now our go to place for Chinese...we have been looking since our normal place closed down 6 month ago and couldn't find anywhere that was even reasonably good. Chef chan is even better than our old Chinese food restaurant go to...They told us up to 1hour n 15 minutes and the food was on our table 40 minutes later. Pleasant ordering and delivery expereince i have nothing critical to say here. ..I 100% recommend this place

We knew Chef Chan, like many take out services, would be busy on New Years Eve. We phoned Chef Chan the evening before New Years Eve Day to place our order. We had a significant order of food amounting to over 100.00 of our family New Years Eve Dinner. Chef Chan was extremely busy, being as well known and loved in Barrie as they are, so we were not surprised that on such a busy day they were already booked with pre-orders from 4 PM to 7 PM. Nonetheless, we placed our order for as close to 7 as possible. They originally felt it would be 7:15 PM but promised a 7 PM pick up time. We drove to Chef Chan for 6:50 PM, went in and paid for the food, which is not required ahead of time, but we felt would speed things up. They staff were VERY calm and VERY polite and professional. One on the workers told me they were now working on our order (6:55 PM). I had envisions of having to wait, maybe an additional 15 minutes, but at exactly 7:02 PM a lady came out to the lobby and handed me the bags of food. RIGHT ON TIME!! Once we drove home and opened the containers we were surprised at the quantity of food. And when we started eating, we ALL agreed, this was the freshest, tastiest Chinese food we've had from any Chinese Restaurant in Barrie. Even the broccoli in a couple vegetable dishes was perfectly cooked and really fresh looking and tasting. Chef Chan has been a long time favourite of local Barrie businesses and we have no hesitation at all recommending them. We've tried many but all long as Chef Chan remain as consistent as they are known to be, they will be our Chinese Restaurant of choice. Well done!

Been enjoying this place for a long long time. Originals in this end of town. We do have a lot of choices but I find Chef Chan to be the best I like to take advantage of the family for 4 deal Monday/Thursday. Huge portion for a great price really helps me feed the family. I appreciate the fact that everything has its own taste or cooked on its own. keep it up guys thank you
