The food is really good - not cheap, but good! Really disappointed however with some takeaway custard slices - 9 for 3 of them! (I think they buy them in at a premium due to the quality of ingredients and that is reflected in the price.) Got them home and they were all stuck to the bag! Unfortunately I was home when I opened them so couldn’t go back to the shop and the phone wasn’t being answered - so I had to resort to social media! Whilst I have done throughout the last year and will continue to support local businesses during the pandemic, I would have thought for that price at the very least you should get them in a cardboard box! \u200d️

Limited menu currently and no indoor seating. Seating outside with some cover and orders brought out to you. Great service and extremely tasty cake and coffee!

Lovely little spot. Plenty of choice on the menu (perfectly poached eggs). Good coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back!

Lovely cappuccinos and cakes which we enjoyed in the park.

Quaint little cafe overlooking The Knap boating lake. There is a nice little garden at the back. Reasonable priced with friendly staff

Despite being a coffee shop, I've had some of the best brunches here. The Welsh Rarebit I had was to die for, and I'd definitely recommend. My only qualm is that it does tend to get rather busy, and there's not as much in the way of vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options for those who may need it. Definitely a place to stop by and try out, though.

Safe environment with strict social distancing! Very good food, superb coffee, and friendly staff. The only downside is eating with plastic cutlery but I suppose thats necessary in these times. Maybe change to a better quality plastic cutlery as the forks were very brittle.

I used to love this place and went here at least twice per week if not more for the last 5 years with different family members and friends. Also had my grandmother's 90th afternoon tea for 18 of us a few years back. I don't know what's happened to the place since the covid outbreak or whether it has new owners but the staff now are so rude. I went at the end of September, and the staff were very rude then, I said wouldn't go again however my husband persuaded me to give them another chance. This time they were even worse to the point where I walked out. I will not go here again. Disgusting way of dealing with loyal customers.
