First, they offered me a \deal\ when I first started looking into the school to see if I could afford it. They told me that 500 dollars would get me through the class. Due to my economic instability, I needed a few weeks to save the money I needed for the full class, so I waited. They renounced the discount when I called back, even after explaining that I needed a week or two to raise the amount they asked for. Lucky for me, I had enough to put 200 down, so I did; I signed up for a two-week evenings course about two and a half weeks ahead of time, which would now cost me 600. They told me that the class wasn't full, so I talked my friend into joining the class with me-he borrowed money to pay for the class-and he was accepted too. However, less than a week before our class start date, we both receive text messages explaining that \due to personal reasons\ they were sending our money back to us and telling us that the classes were canceled. They offered no alternative courses, could not find another instructor, and offered little to no means of compensation for the lack of hindsight that I would imagine a large, stable, well-known business of its stature would be capable of maintaining. I would not recommend this bar tending school to anyone in the San Antonio area due to the lack of predetermined preparation in the event of any \personal reason\ that an instructor may encounter. Six hundred dollars is a lot of money, and I am not comfortable with this company making commitments it cannot keep.
