Membership is free this year.               Location Bartow, Florida Historic Bartow Florida is the county seat for Polk in Central Florida. Our guild building is located at 1240 E Main St. We hold classes, meetings and social events at this location and also at the Bartow Civic Center.         Who we are   In 1959, a group of local artists who painted together formed the Bartow Art Guild. Together they had a vision and put forth their plan to share their love of all arts to the community. The guild is a non profit organization and completely volunteer.   Over the years, the group met, and painted, at different location. Outdoors, members homes, even one of the local churches hosted them for a time. In December of 2002, 43 years after organizing, the guild was gifted a building by local businessman and civic leader, Brian Hinton. Classes, workshops, and board meetings are held in this location.
