Food and wines are very good. The way and art plates are served do not follow rules of chic restaurants. You do not cross table with the plate, but you come from the side and some other details. Otherwise, nice place. Food & service were excellent. Great place for lunch or dinner. Would go there again.

We were with my partner last Monday evening to eat in the beautiful Schlüsselzunft for the first time. The interior is exceptional, and we have rarely seen such an excellent service, our waitress was so discreet and efficient, with calm and a nice sense of humour. We consider it was one of the best culinary experience we ever had and will talk to our friends about the Schlüsselzunft.

Then we read the interesting menu and stopped our choice at the \Trüffelmenu\ for both of us.
Central location, with very nice spacious interior. Venue has a more formal as well as an informal part. Visited for Lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon in the informal \place mat\ part. Comfortable seating with sufficient privacy space between the tables. Compact menu with the usual international and Swiss/German favourites. Quality and taste of the food is good, servings are average size. Staff are friendly and service speed was good for a Saturday afternoon. Prices in line with the central location.
One of the best meals ever. Had the 5 course with wine pairings. Must do if you’re in Basel.
