Mum has now been living at Pemberley House for over 18 months. When I was looking for a home for Mum I went to quite a few! Some were very old fashioned, no en-suite facilities, residents in chairs around the walls of the day room, more of a canteen rather than a dining area. Pemberley House was head and shoulders above the others. It was bright and welcoming. The dining area has the facilities for residents to make their own coffee and tea, and the seating area is more like a living room. The staff can't do enough for you but also importantly for Mum. With COVID-19 Pemberley House staff have been brilliant. Making sure Mum keeps her mobile phone on (most of the time) so we have a line to her to talk every day. And, then with ability to visit in the Garden it's made all the difference. Excellent, staff, excellent facilities and excellent place for Mum! I could not recommend it any higher.

Came in to scout about since my granny is looking to move into town soon. Don’t want her at home that’s for sure. The place is neat and the staff was kind enough to allow me entry though I didn’t have anyone to see. I think we’ll visit again shortly

My wife went to visit her late husbands mother at 7 in the evening and was met by a very rude and abrupt nurse, who said she has had a bad day and she was asleep. When told would still like to see her, was refused. I had bought along her grandaughter to visit and she ended up in tears. A simple yes she's sleeping but you can pop your head in to see if she's ok would of done the job and not caused all the upset with her unprofessional cold hearted attitude!
