Travel Duo

Traveled from batangas to calapan(Stella del Mar), the staffs are so approachable and patience to the passengers. The decks are clean and comfortable. And the comfort rooms are clean as well, first time seeing local ship with that. And also alot of women staffs it's very unusual but that's great. Future seafarer here hoping to work here as well.

Necessary context, I think, our departure came on the date when trips resumed after cancellations from the storm on prior days. That said, ours was not a good experience. There's was lying involved. We purchased our tickets business class online. When we boarded the boat, we found out that they'd been downgraded to economy. When we spoke to customer service on the boat, she said that she couldn't do anything because business class was already full because we got in late. See picture attached of us being late in getting our tickets. (Edit because my panorama shot wouldn't upload.) When we asked for a refund of the higher-priced ticket, she said we couldn't because, as it turns out, economy class was more expensive than business class. Oh, wow, what an offer. They do paper ticketing and accounting. It hardly mattered that our tickets were purchased online. I think our awkward seating arrangement was also a consequence of that. Imagine your group being seated in a column, the next person behind the other instead of side to side like normal because numbers went up 2, 3, 4 instead of B, C, D. The reason we had gone with Starlite was that we heard their boats were at least cleaner than the others. I haven't tried the others, but I can say that the boat does seem clean enough. Obviously, I would have rated better if we had just gotten the seats we paid for and if the overall situation were better. But they made a bad situation worse with their dishonesty.

Better than before... MV Stella Delmar is nice, clean, and provides good customer service. It can accommodate large number of passengers and vehicles. Travel time is approx 2 hours from Batangas to Calapan pier. Kudos for levelling up!

The ship was delayed for 10hrs. We were scheduled to sail at 6am in the morning. They never notified us through txt or email. Poor communication among people on the ground and on the ship. The travel from caticlan to batangas was 10hrs, and they didnot wvwn informed us that it will be delayed knowing that their ship hasn't left at the Batangas port yet. Suggestion, let your passengers know of any delay by txt and email, it doesn't cost much. You can get unlimited text to all network for less than php200. Than let your passengers suffer the 10hrs in the tiny port spaces. We looked like refugees!! For all the future passengers pls consider this before going booking. I hope you guys improve.
