The Miraculous Well of Sta. Lucia is a spring-fed well where two women saw the reflection of the Virgin of Caysasay. The well is located in Barrio Caysasay, in the heritage town of Taal. Although the site itself remains stunning, I couldn’t help but be saddened by the garbage loitered around the site.

Quiet, serene and pristine place that I hope all visitors keep well as you visit. The waters from the well are indeed refreshing. Be nice and give a tip to local folks who upkeep the place

My dad drives a lot and had suffered from severe blisters formed on the arches of his feet for a couple of weeks. I asked him to wash his feet using the water I brought home from the well, but he just wiped some. We were in awe as it was healed overnight! They're completely dry and no longer aches. Truly miraculous!

A little known pilgrimage site in Taal, Batangas. The Spanish Era Arch is well preserved but the surrounding area has a lot of loitering dogs which makes it a it risky to visit.

Sta. Lucia Well is the site of the very first Marian apparition recorded in Philippine History. This is where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to a blind woman named Juana Tangui, who was healed after she was ordered by our Blessed Mother to wash her eyes with the waters from this well, hence making it miraculous. A stone arch which stands to this day was built after the apparition. Today, it is a major pilgrimage site in the town of Taal, many people gather here to fetch miraculous waters from this well in hopes of getting their bodies healed from various health problems.
