Gloriously maintained. A beautiful historic home in the heart of the lovely town of Taal. Enjoy the period furniture and artworks especially the first English translations of Rizal's novels. Lookout for the three extraordinarily long floorboards that stretch the full width of the house! The caretakers are brilliant too providing just the right amount of insight and information without being intrusive.

One of the best old and historic house in Taal Batangas. Well preserved and maintained. The house has a lot of story to tell and with a lot of participation in our revolution history. Many of our great and well known heroes have visited this house. The owners are very lucky to keep this house standing despite its age and for having old antics and artifacts inside the house. Seeing those old things that they use in the past are priceless. When you go to Taal Batangas dont forget to visit this place. For a very small amount to pay for entrance its all worth it and they offer a short film viewing and a snack of sticky rice with hot choco. They also offer a room if you want to stay overnight or a couple of days its clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is also very good and delicious.
A splendid bahay na bato built in 1870 as a wedding gift of Don Eulalio Villavicencio to his bride These are typical heritage houses in Taal, for architecture enthusiasts, you will love the details of most of the houses in Taal like this one
This place has been well maintained. You have to visit this place once you are in Taal town. Don't forget to check out the paintings made by Juan Luna. Oh and by the way, the current owners of this house is a friend of mine.
Great place to visit to see how our traditional house looks like in their time.
The place is exquisitely historical. The view is mesmerizing and nostalgic. The feels of the pre war.
We thought the house had a store that sells wedding gifts. Apparently, it's so-called because the house was the wedding gift of the young Villavicencio don to his bride. A visit to this house is a historical and cultural treat.
