As a police officer and veteran, I'm ashamed of your agencies conduct against citizens conducting constitutionally protected 1st amendment right. To all citizens, please understand that many of us within law enforcement DO NOT support this type of behavior. Secondly, the American flag represents “ALL” Americans from heroes to cowards. The American flag with the thin blue line separates Americans Not only does it deface the real American flag, but it creates additional divide between law enforcement and the community.

Do you require high school diplomas of your deputies, as I have serious questions about whether some of them have ever heard of the constitution or bill of rights. Deputy Jeremy Davis (#4902) sounds like a moron who doesn't have a clue about the first amendment when he threw a member of the media out of a county courthouse hallway for taking \pictures.\ This isn't North Korea... it's AMERICA! Get a clue there Jeremy. Another of the deputies actually suggested that people have a ight\ not to be filmed... saying that it was harassment if they object. Please educate your staff as photography is a first amendment protected right... not a crime. I'm embarrassed for your deputies.

Protect the Constitution serve the People! Sounds pretty simple doesn't it? Who do you think you are forcing the public from public under the threat of violence. Photography is not a crime. Sheriff you got alot of education to do. Start with the fact that Constitutional rights do not stop were someone elses \feelings\ start! Shameful!
