Coop is a shadow of its former self. It used to be a nice supermarket with butchers and deli counters. Now all branches are the same and rely on central just in time logistics and no local character. The Scala gets 2 stars as it is at least capable of keeping stock on the shelves. The branch near to where I used to live outside London was always running short of stock. The top management needs to get a grip.

Hardly any staff when my mum went shopping and then because she used a self service checkout that malfunctioned robbed her of the 10 that never appeared in her 14 change l Maybe they needed it to pay the miserable member of staff who dealt with her when she asked for it back
Went in today and the staff could not have been more helpful. They were so kind and went out of the way to help me get a home delivery. Always a smile and a cheerful conversation. They could not do enough. Please look after the staff there, they are worth their weight in gold, all I can say is thank you all.
