i love this spot. if you're in need of a great coffee and a nice vegan/vegetarian snack this is the first place you should check out in bath - ideally situated next to the train station it's super easy to find. staff are always friendly and prompt and i often stop for a few minutes and have a chat - as i now visit quite regularly they remember my normal order, even after 6 months of lockdown! be sure to try the facon butty if stopping by for breakfast, or if you're visiting for the lunch the mac & cheese is super tasty. they also have a nice selection of organic and ethically sourced drinks and the coffee is lush too.. be sure to check it out !

Liked the vibe here, very popular at lunch time. The different mix of organic sauces and vegetables complimented my pallets. Service is friendly and welcoming, it's reasonably priced for where it is. The organic cola is very nice as well. It's only a few minutes walk away from the train station.

Incredible vegan food and drink! They have salad boxes, vegan mac 'n' cheese, wraps, soups, stews, cakes and pastries and you can get a beautiful fresh coffee to wash it all down with. Really friendly staff and a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere too :)
Such a bonus to find a truly vegan restaurant next to the railway station. Not the cheapest but definitely worth every penny! Very much enjoyed the food, the drink and the snack! Sadly the weather wasn't very nice so no chance to sit outside! Highly recommended, enjoy, Christiaan ️
We found Roots & Shoots via Happy Cow while wandering around Bath on holiday. I have to tell you I was so pleased with the experience! First off, I loved the sample plate. The stew and mac and cheese were my favorite. In addition to this, the lady there was sooo kind and gave us a lot of extra food to try, including some AMAZING carrot cake! I would highly recommend everyone to check this place out. It's in a super nice location too, close to the train station so you can easily grab some good while heading into town or before heading out. I hope to come back one day. I’m not a vegan and I love pork bacon. But this FLT (which follows the same concept as a BLT) is super good!!!! It was very yummy! After the meal you don’t feel cr*p, as you do when you eat so much fatty pork meat. You can walk out of here guilt-free!
Absolutely delicious food. Been here 3 times in as many days. Tried a lot of the menu, and it’s all great. Mac and Cheese is out of this world.
