University for Education & Development (UniED) was established in Battambang, Kingdom Cambodia in 2002, by a group of educationists, scientists and development practitioners from Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Pakistan and Bangladesh. UniED was established as a not-for-profit Learning Organization for Education and Development. It has an International Advisory Board of experienced development practitioners and scholars and qualified international staff, dedicated to engaging in the social and material advancement of Cambodia . UniED endeavours to find innovative and creative learning processes that involve action, research and training. These are to occur in the very social spaces especially in rural areas in need of development. It is here that the population engages in the multitude of undertakings for its progress. Our university is present in spaces where social action is happening, accompanying the population, organizing existing knowledge, generating new knowledge, and offering the fruits of systematic learning to the community and its institutions.
