Although Sri Lankans posses a descent tech-literacy the application of technology to bring about better results and to make work easier and smarter has been very poor. We, 15NTAP are working on exposing SMEs to technology through various applications depending on the nature of the business. We are currently focused on the Tuition industry and B2C retail shops mainly. We have developed a fully up and running system for both our target industries and aim to run both using the SAAS model. Sri Lankan tuition arena has been on the same grounds with no proper technology been involved and we believe it has a clear potential of growing bigger and better with the aid of technology. So by setting our aims high, we started off “TuitionFactory” (http://tuitionfactory.lk) to full fill our aim of exposing the tuition arena to technology. Proving our attempts right, after several ups and downs, we now have over 1000 students connected to our system with two teachers as customers. “TuitionFactory “is now in the phase of reaching more customers and is expected to grow in quick time. “Smart Kade” which is our next door of exposing Sri Lankan B2C retail shops to technology is aimed at providing a service to the target group to maintain their stocks, review their revenue, identify trends and also to keep track of their suppliers. “Smart Kade” (http://smartkade.com) runs on the clouds, having bigger goals of connecting the target group to one another to build a platform which will make business smooth and easy. Also we undertake all other tech related solutions providing to SMEs to full fill our goal; Website developments and other custom required Mobile Apps and Software Products are examples. Those have proved to be a great way to fund ourselves too.
