Batu Lanchang Foodcourt has lots of local food here with reasonable prices. Don't worry, most food here taste is good. Many locals eat here. Parking can be a hassle at times.

A lot of local food and drink Come to Try Asian food and Drinks
almost don't want to rate too highly. Because this is truly the best place to eat lunch in Penang, and is already crowded as it is without the good reviews! Best stalls in my opinion are, nasi tomato (both stalls are good in their own way), CKT, tomyam maggie, and chicken rice. This is an institution among Penangites, especially those residing in Batu Lanchang area.
Plenty of local stalls operating here. Crowded with tables within the narrow walkways. Famous stalls such as the cheh hu and nyonya kuih.
A humble traditional food court. U able to get almost every local favourite food here. Cleanliness was just so so.
A big food court located beside the Batu Lanchang market. Many hawker stalls selling various types of street foods. The most popular stall must be the Chinese-style pasembur stall. It is a must-try here. There is a stall selling mini-puffs with assorted fillings, nice and cheap, only 20 sen per piece. The nyonya kuih stall which starts business at 3.30 p.m. attracts a long queue of customers each day. The handmade pau are good too. A big parking area nearby.
For the price and environment, it's truly worth it. No aircon but consider worth for the food. Went to a few stall. Coffee with art is great fun, and nasi Kandar is a queue but nice.
Great food market with cheap and delicious food, be careful with the wild cats though, they wanna steal your food.
