We have stayed twice at Hotel Tardif and it is a wonderful experience! The rooms and grounds are beautiful and the hosts could not be more accommodating. The location in Bayeux is ideal.

What a gem! From the moment you enter reception you know you are in a very special place! Our room was so spacious and lovely. Anthony could not do enough for us and made our visit perfect.
Excellent service, with a magnificent, huge garden in the heart of Bayeux dedicated to their clients and their guests. The feeling is like walking in to a renaissance castle with touch of modernity and all the new generation advantages, wifi, ect.... When we walked in to the breakfast area, there is an impression of Great Hall with huge dinning table; "impressive". The main Salon has a very warm & cozy touch. Perfect to read a book and be in comfort of a cafe or glass of wine while offering more privacy with a view over the garden. The hotel is placed under 5 min walking distance to the cathdrale of Bayeux and even less time to the Tapestry of Bayeux.Offering a huge number of choice of dinning area in the near by restaurants. The most fascinating addition to the hotel, which I find it marvelous is the private part of the garden dedicated to the new heated Pool. Thanks for your services, it been a pleasure. The kids loved it and felt like HOME.
I think it's the best place to stay in Bayeux. Loved all about it.
Excellent hotel with outstanding staff. We had a great stay and really appreciated the location/breakfast/room/etc. The staff made us feel very welcome and the property is beautiful!
A great experience, with a very friendly staff. The building is clearly a vintage construction, which makes it fascinating, and yet it has many modern upgrades. It's not the Marriott, but who wants it to be? I'd stay again.
We stayed at the Tardif, while travelling with the WWII museum tour group and we're there for D-Day. We stayed for 8 days and could not have been happier, anywhere else, with the suite we stayed in at the guesthouse. The location, in the center of town, and the owners, Anthony & Guillaume, are two of the best innkeepers that I have ever encountered and I travelled in my career as an international sales manager. All the breakfasts served were very fresh using local foods. I hope the Tardif remains a well kept secret, but is financially successful. All I can say is "Merci, merci, merci" to the owners, for a fabulous stay. There are also 4 Michelin star restaurants in town and their food is terrific too! John Keefe & Patty McGrail
The property is beautiful! We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and couldn't have had a better experience in Bayeux. The owners were great and provided some amazing local insight. Would definitely stay again.
