If you want your child to learn and not just do school work than Beacon Country Day School is the school for you. My children love school and feel love and support every day!! They can't wait to go to school every day and they are so smart because they actually learn!! If your child is gifted or not they will bring out the best in any child. I am very pleased with my decision to send both my children here! It is well worth the money I spend.

I can’t tell you how pleased I am with the exceptional academics and behavior education. The teachers really care about the kids getting a good education and actually understanding the material. If any paper receives a low grade, the teacher works with the child to go back through the items they missed so they understand what the problems are and fully understand the topic. This way the child never continues on with a subject with only a partial knowledge of it or starts falling behind. The school truly caters to the individual child and their learning styles to ensure that each child will excel and succeed. And when it comes to behavior, I saw an immediate increase in maturity when my daughter started at Beacon. The staff and teachers coach the students on good vs. bad behavior; and all expect mature behavior from the students. There is also zero-tolerance for bullying. The staff and teachers go the extra mile to ensure students understand how to treat and respect each other.

It took about two years of searching and visiting schools to find the perfect school for our child. We feel very happy that we finally found Beacon. I had a multiple criteria that I had based my search and reasons why Beacon was chosen. Beacon has, however, provided even more than what I asked for. One criteria that appeals to us, for example, was strong academic results (scoring among the very best schools in the country). Yet, I am delighted to find out that kids has excelled far beyond what is required at the grade level and learning can be deeper than what is found on standardized tests. The class sizes are small and it allows children, all of them, to actively participate in classroom discussions. My kid was rather shy before Beacon. Now she does not hesitate to share her views. Learning is so much fun, everyday school life is fun, and it is such a joy for us to watch. School also focuses on raising her whole being, not just education but morale as well. When I go to school every morning and see how all the kids behave, I know they are more than just smart kids. It is one of the only schools I have been to where the kids will actually hold the doors for adults and have exceptional manners. I observe the approach teachers make to help kids and they are all are kind and effective. We just can not say enough good words about faculty, either. I adore the passion, knowledge and experience the school's faculty possess. Make a visit to school and you'll see difference.

I cannot recommend this school enough. My daughter attended 5th grade at Beacon last year and will now move into the middle school there. The small class size and the attention that the students get because of this has changed our daughter's path in school. She is doing more academically than we ever thought was possible. Also, the culture of the school is extremely nurturing and this has helped her as well. It's a wonderful community of staff and parents and we are so happy that we found this school.

My son has been at Beacon for 2 1/2 years. At the moment he is in Middle School and the standard of academics is excellent. In addition, their drama and art is outstanding. The school is so nurturing and friendly, we are very happy with our choice. With one more year to go, I feel sure that he will be fully prepared for his next school.

We visited several schools in the Denver area by far had the best experience at Beacon. The faculty, staff, parents and students were all very welcoming. This is my son’s second year, he loves it! Not only does he always want to go to school, he never wants to leave! And best of all he is truly learning.

If you are considering a private school you have to consider Beacon Country Day School. From an academic standpoint you will not find a better program. This school is amazing from preschool to 8th grade. My granddaughter is extremely smart and she start attending last year when she was 3 years old. She is learning to read already and loves her school. She is learning math, reading, writing and french plus drama, singing and PE. She has never been so happy and granted she is only 3 she has made amazing strides here. I would not even consider any other school. We absolutely love the love we feel every day day in and day out. It is unbelievable how dedicated the entire staff is. All the kids are so polite and you never see anything that concerns you. Plus they have a free before and after school program that she loves and a great summer school from what we have heard. Highly recommend!! Just a quick update our grand daughter graduated from junior kindergarten this year and she had the most amazing year she was so excited to go to school every single day. I am in heaven with the teachers, staff, parents, kids and the curriculum. She cannot wait to go back this fall and start kindergarten. It is not a shinny new school it is a loving nurturing, academically advanced for each child. Each Child is learning at their level and that keeps them so engaged.

Beacon is a great school, with small class sizes and a wonderful learning environment. Dr. Wallace and Dr. Rogers are passionate, very engaged, caring and smart. The middle school teachers are superb! Thrilled we chose the school and would recommend to anyone.
