We just spent a week at ULA's Holiday Apartments. In search of peace from everyday life and the power of nature, we ended up in Beatenberg with Ula. We found a loving temporary home in the mountains. The flat is so cosy that you quickly feel at home and Ula enriches the time out with her helpfulness and kindness. She can give you lots of tips and is a very warm hostess. Even when we had a flat tyre with our car, her husband rushed over and fixed the problem with aplomb and as a matter of course. A local resident also came to help without being asked - we were very touched. Interlaken is 10-15 minutes away by car. Interlaken is a lively place, but from Beatenberg, in good weather (which of course cannot be planned and should not be the expectation - in the mountains, the weather changes quickly! And if the weather is bad in Beatenberg, it's bad in Interlaken too) you have this fantastic far-reaching view that you don't have from below. But even in bad weather, you are compensated by the friendly atmosphere in the house. We will miss the morning coffee in the mountain air and (except for two snowy days) on our inviting terrace with a view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. We heartily recommend ULA's Holiday Apartments! Thank you Ula and also again many thanks to your husband and the helpful unknown Beatenberger.

Late February my daughter, son in law and I spent 3 nights @ Ula's Holiday Apartments. The accommodations were wonderful, very spacious and very welcoming. Ula is a wonderful host, has many suggestions and provides excellent information for guests. Not only are the accommodations wonderful but the view is beyond believable. High above the Interlaken Lakes with the back drop of the Jungfrau area peaks....breathtaking view every morning. Thank you Ula for a wonderful time in your lovely home, I hope one day to return.

Ula is a great host. She made sure that our stay was hassle free and memorable. Her apartment is well maintained and looks like a dream home. I highly recommend Ula's apartment to anybody who wants to enjoy a beautiful landscape during their stay in Interlaken.

We had a very nice visit here. Stayed here for three nights. The weather wasn't very good and Ula was so nice trying to help us find the best activities we can do at this weather. She knows all the hikes and attractions around and she was really helpful. She can also help with the restaurants in town. Thank you Ula we had a plusure.
