The is an absolute a must stop driving through Beaufort west. Famous for its legendary Karoo lamb, infect the food is very good no matter what dish you pick with Karoo hospitality and the shop downstairs is gorgeous, full of unique souvenir mostly locally produced. You can fill up and be on your way.

The service was excellent. The drinks were delivered very promptly. The meal arrived without too long a wait, and was outstanding. Very well organized restaurant, all the while maintaining very high covid awareness and protocol. I'll be back, and can well recommend this spot as a great dining venue
Very nice stop on one's trip. They have very nice products. Leather, socks, all things sheep. Their food is nice. Staff very friendly. Bathrooms very clean.
Clean and Covid Compliant . We had lamb burgers and curry but there were more elaborate options like sheep head! Nice views over the dam and sunset.
Another great place if you are traveling between the North and the South. Great place to grab a meaty bite, if you traveling from Jozi to Cape Town or vice-versa. True Karoo lamb shanks or chops. O and do try the double think milkshake as well. Damn what a nice Milkshake . Another thing go there when you lekker hungry because the portions are reasonably big.
I've stopped at 4 Sheep in Beaufort West many times. Their olives are legendary and worth the high price. Perfect stop to get petrol, coffee (good), muffins, sandwiches, and baked goods plus deli items like jams, sweets, and chile sauce. Product line changes every year but the 4 Sheep Karroo olives remain the main reason to purchase.
Very bad. Cashed up 20 minutes before. When I wanted to order the rude woman told me, "You can't order. I cashed up." I think the people should know about this. THROUGH INDEPENDENT NEWSPAPERS. You are getting too much credit for nothing but rudeness.
We were delighted to find this clean, well stocked store. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.
