Beautiful building, fabulous position by river.
If you are looking for a modern hotel with airconditioning then you are at the wrong place. But if you are looking for style, history, quality and something different in Beaugency you are absolutely in the right place. Our stay was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to walk in the ancient hallways and sit in the styleful and comfortable lounges. To gaze at the Loire river while having a most excellent breakfast is something I could do every day. The room we had was very spacious and well in style with the vibe of the monastery. The breakfast consists of local products or products from monasteries and is absolutely amazing. For dinner do not forget to try the "Poulet Fermier Orléans a la Broche" it's the best prepared chicken I had in a long time and the local wine is a good companion to the dish. You can see it being prepared by the cook at the big fireplace in the restaurant. Thank you for the good time we had at your hotel!
Stayed for two nights in August. Lovely building which was previously a monastery. Lots of character with stone staircases and high ceilings. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The terrace overlooks the river and without doubt the best place in town to enjoy dinner. Menu is limited but freshly cooked and good portions. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there both nights and tried the various local beers. Parking on site is limited. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a little tired but perfectly adequate. Will certainly be going back.

Very nice hotel with great atmosphere in an old abbey, beautiful fire places and staircases. Rooms are large and comfortable, very clean. Very good location and kind staff. Very nice view of the Loire river.

Stayed in the hotel for one as part of a bike trip along the Loire. It had hands down the best breakfast of the four hotels we stayed in, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The best features of the hotel, though, are the venue itself, right next to the river in the building of an old monastery that keeps you wondering whether you accidentally fell through a time machine, and the absolutely amazing staff, in particular Tiffany and Alexis. As an example of how far they will go above and beyond: I was silly enough to forget my camera at a restaurant in Beaugency, and only noticed it a day later. I called the hotel, and they went way out of their way to collect the camera from the restaurant, put it in a box and mail it to me in the UK.
