Very nice stop over for a night with good (family) rooms just a bit south of Orleans in a small village situated at the river Loire while we were traveling from the northern part of France. Also very suitable as a stop over when coming from Belgium and the Netherlands heading to southern parts of France such as our holiday hamlet near Bergerac (Boulede.com) or village appartment in Monflanquin (Loftovillage.com).

A nice cute little B&B. Room is small but clean.

Though the outside looks a bit run down like many château in France, the inside was okay. The bed was kind of small for two people and the upstairs room has wooden structures as the roof slide downward which cuts the ceiling space and makes it a bit difficult to move about in the room, but that's the French château style. As you lie in your bed, you could see the stars thru the window.

Got the wrong room and were interrupted twice by night from desoriented staff. Only one toddler chair at breakfast. Nice pool.

Will not write about positives and repeat other reviews, it's a nice place. Negatives (easily fixable I believe): - our room (not sure about others) had virtually no ventilation the bathroom. - No kettle (as with most of France?). - Breakfast is good but it's mostly cold (other than boiled eggs) and sweet plus some corn flakes etc. No veg or warm food (e.g. scrambled eggs) so healthy eaters might be dissapointed. - about 30 channels but all in French. Unfortunately other hotels also don't realise that this makes people feel slightly unwelcome.
