Great building and unusual designed church front, take a walk along the side and back to see some extraordinary architecture and building. At the back you will see some great stain glass windows, just amazing building worth the walk around.

Built during 12th and 13th century, the Notre Dame is mainly a medieval Romanesque architecture, despite of its late additions. Located in the beautiful and historical town of Beaune, where is famous as the Capital of Burgundy wines, this Cathedral is well worth a visit.
Very cool place, especially at night with the lights on.
This Basilica of Our Lady of Beaune is considered to be one of the last fantabulou and great Romanesque churches in Bourgogne! Absolutely beautiful on both the east and west façades. It's actually a combination of a basilica and a convent attached to this church. Both are classified as historic monuments. It dates back to the twelfth century with incredible history if you have time to read up on it. The nave has two aisles with a transept, a liturgical choir with an apse. The vaulted ceiling is quite spectacular and the ambulatory space behind the main apse is stunning. There's a portal on the right transept that leads into the cloister gallery but it was closed when I visited. It's quite restrained in decor but absolutely peaceful and tranquil place. There's a lot to take in when inside with beautiful organ buffet and chapels. Absolutely worth visiting. It's quite easy to find from the train station and about a couple of minutes walk to Hôtel Dieu Museum.
Nice building, especially after sunset then it's lit up with a light show
Good place for take pictures
Unique; worthwhile to visit, especially the tapestries of the virgin Mary... To be highly recommended
