Great place to live and the staff treats me great. Great community and atmosphere and very little crime from my experience for the most part. Management treats you with respect and fairness.

So, I lived there for a year. Before the management changed, it was a decent place to be. Now that management changed, it's awful. The woman is a terrible manager. She pulls some illegal bullcrap if she doesn't like you for whatever reason. The maintenance men however, are great. I could not have asked for a better crew
I was reading some of the reviews on colonial oaks that seemed controversial. So I waited for the appropriate time to test the management. On Sunday my electric upstairs went out and I couldn't properly reset the breaker. So I called management immediately. In about 3 and a half minutes passed and,a guy knocked on my door. In less the 1 and a half minutes almost exactly this man who's name is Mark had my electric back up and running. This is a man that really don't even officially work for management but it was Sunday and the regular people who handle these things were off duty. So in all total from the time I called until the problem was fixed took less then 5 minutes. If Guinness had a category for fastest response time by a maintenance man this is the guy who would be in there. Thanks Mark we appriciate you helping out. Everybody has a right to his or her own opinion, however you don't have a right to the facts. Im quite sure i wont agree with everything, but i dont expect the manager to clean my bathroom or scrub my bathtub like some people think . I cant believe somebody complained about an ant! Come on people seriously?No I don't agree with every rule but I can certainly decern right from wrong. And to criticize and destroy an individuals reputation for the purpose of revenge I feel is cowardly. Life's not perfect your going to run into problems from time to time it's how we as a people handle these issues that define who we are, not the irrational rhetorical rampage that some of you seem to aspire to.
