I rented a studio apartment for the summer of 2015 while I interned in the area. The fridge was a mini fridge like you would find in a dorm room, you could barely fit any food in it, so grocery runs happened every other day. The A/C was laughably bad. It didn’t cool well and was incredibly loud. I used to heat for one night and I think the unit uses resistance heat, so look forward to a huge power bill in the cold Pa winter. The on-site manager was difficult to deal with and did not want to give me something as simple as a receipt for rent payment so that my company could reimburse me. The interior was very old in terms of style and actual age. The apartment I rented was furnished, I think with furniture that were hand-me-downs from a motel that got the furniture as hand-me-downs from a hotel back in the 90’s. To their credit, the property was kept clean and it was generally quiet, save to roar of the A/C units. I lived here because the company I was interning with recommended it and I was going to college in Va, so looking for an apartment was really and option. If you want a place that sucks the happiness out of life, you found the place. If living in a miserable apartment isn’t for you, look elsewhere. This place will make you dread coming home from work.

Excellent apartments! You can see the care and attention to detail that the staff puts into their work. They were friendly, easy to contact, and very responsive. The apartments themselves are cozy and peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

York Square has a peaceful community atmosphere. The landlord lady was very helpful in explaining everything that is on property without overselling any aspects. The apartments themselves are good at blocking all noises, have new kitchen appliances, good signal connection, and it’s nice that in the winter the parking lot is cleared and salted almost immediately after snowfall. The location is less than 2 mile drive to a grocery store, gym, food places, and a park with great trails.
