I volunteer with Pacific pug rescue and we have a fundraiser of “”Pennies for Pugs”... because every penny counts in paying for medical bills of the surrendered pugs. I was given a container of wheat pennies and I thought they might be worth more than a penny so I took them to Beaverton Coin. The gentlemen there bought the pennies and gave me a very nice donation for the rescue . Thank you so much for your kindness .

I had the absolute weirdest experience with this place on 11/27/20. I called asking if they had any Silver Eagles. After making it clear I was only looking for newer production rounds and not collectable coins, the (rude) person on the phone told me they only had 2020 rounds. This is is totally fine. I ask him their cost. His reply, "Too much." So at this point I'm really scratching my head. So I ask again what the cost is. He goes into a mini rant about how he has to charge more than he bought them for. Yeah, I know, that's how business works! I then decided it wasn't worth staying on the phone with this guy, and I hung up. So, whoever I spoke to was not only weird and rude, but they also lost a sale.

Great people here they even took my handful of regular old pennies and added it to the sale and gave me quick cash for my world/old or defective coins at a reasonable price, something people should do more often. I find all kinds of odd coins and think about keeping them but in the end I need the money now lol, although the value of coin goes up over time
