I’m torn with this doctor. She ran lots of tests, gave me answers - but ended up leaving me with more questions. Best GI in Beckley, but she is very moody. First appointment was great. Follow up appointments she was rude and rushed, barely answered questions. Gave me a diagnosis and walked out the door. No education, nothing. Made me feel like I was a nuisance to her. Woman at the front desk is super sweet and wonderful, but the lady who does the appointments is also very rude. Probably won’t be coming back.

A family member went there for issues after a surgery and the experience was great. (I accompanied on appointments) Efficient appointments and the doctor was obviously knowledgeable and we felt comfortable with the tests, treatments and outcome. Hopefully we don't need this in the future but if we ever did we would return to this office. The staff was super nice and the office is clean

Absolutely incredible doctor and staff. I was referred here after years of poor lifestyle choices and abuse to my body. She was open and real from the beginning about the possibility of damage, but didn’t make things any more stressful than they needed to be. Due to COVID my follow up was delayed a few months. I was able to put her advice to work in that time along with the lifestyle changes I had already made and was rewarded with perfect labs.

I will give the Dr a good report. I truly love her. But I try to call ,they hardly ever answer the phone. I leave a message and never call me back. Was suppose to call and make an appointment for a ct and after 3 weeks of waiting i finally got hold of them and they said they got me one ,but no one contacted me . So as far as the help goes they are truly lacking . They even moved and didnt tell me and i spent 3 weeks trying to get them . I finally called Raleigh General and they told me she moved and gave me her new number. Frustrated to say the least

The other reviews gave bad reviews because of canceled appointments. (Mine were never canceled) but as a doctor, she is wonderful. She spent plenty of time with me and answered all of my questions. She didn’t rush me along. She has wonderful bedside manners. She was caring and compassionate and I would recommend her to everyone.

They cancelled my appt. after a 2 month wait. Never returned my calls. Now looking for another gastroenterologist. What a waste of my time.

Had an appointment for October made back in August... was called the day before the appointment and told it was canceled. No big deal, except when I called back to see when it had been rescheduled for I was told it would be “sometime in April or May”... I cannot speak to whether or not she is a good doctor, but I certainly am frustrated with the outcome of this canceled appointment.
