Bedford store. Absolutely fuming with this lot! Full payment in advance made at their insistance, fitting booked 4 weeks ahead (this was the earliest date available) I rang them 3 days before fitting date to confirm and was told carpet would not be available for fitting. They knew this 8 days previously but hadn't bothered to advise me. Absolute shysters. I advise that you avoid them at all costs!

This store is open when all others are closed due to Covid claiming they are 'a builders merchant' During the previous lockdown they claimed they were a homewares retailer but as homewares has now been classified as 'non essential' they have changed their mind and become a builders merchant and/or a DIY store. As 99% of their business is residential and not trade to builders i hope each and every store is fined the full 10K. They are still offering beds for sale in-store (for delivery next year). Legislation was clarified last night that carpet (and bed) retailers are 'non essential' therefore must close. Like all others have correctly done.

Shopped around the independent shops, found a carpet we liked, went to carpet right they matched it and were actually less! Happy!
