The trails here are well-marked and so pretty, as is the nature center building- all those windows and rocking chairs on the wrap-around porch made this girl's heart sing! Great place to visit, walk, and learn.

We love exploring here! Every season is beautiful. The trails are perfect lengths for small children, or can be looped together for longer hikes.

The most beautiful hidden gem in Bedford County! Come early if you're looking for a solo hike, or in the evening to watch the sun set over the Peaks of Otter in the summer.

Very nice place to get lost in nature. Easy walks. Be sure to go up to the \farm house\ for some spectacular views.

We went there for some family photos and to have a nice fall/early winter backdrop. The views were absolutely stunning. To get there, you drive through a private gravel road with about 10 homes, the last of which is a hoarder and looks condemnable. Then, out of nowhere, you stumble upon a gate to the property. The property is neat, clean, and well looked after. The fact that you can come here for free is the best part. If you are looking for a beautiful place to have a picnic, take photos, paint the scenery, or even get married, you will not find a better view in the blue ridge. No wonder someone decided to make this site their home over 200 years ago.
