THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC! I’m amazed it has received anything but positive reviews...the staff are fantastic, the food is delicious and all the cakes are home made, generously portioned and taste incredible. Lisa makes all the cakes herself and also makes cakes for special occasions too...we’ve had christening cakes, wedding cakes and they have all been exceptional! They have dealt with the transition into Covid brilliantly and kept their intimate atmosphere even with all of the changes. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Really nice haven for a coffee and toasted teacake or cake... or a great breakfast... or lunch. Everything looks attractive and fresh. Staff friendly and there was a lovely ambience when I was there. Even though I was on my own the background of animated chatter from other customers made me feel welcome somehow. Worth a walk to find! Thank you!!
I have heard great things about this place but maybe, those people didn't visit it on a Sunday. It felt like the people working on this day have never worked in a cafe before. They looked nervous and uncomfortable behind the counter and taking orders. The service really did leave a lot to be desired. They didn't know if they had tables available or how many, we had to find our own table. They came to take the order but they didn't even have a menu, they brought drinks out but no sugar or spoons, we had to ask for most things. I couldn't believe it. We asked for 2 baguettes with bacon, avocado, chicken and tomato. The baguette itself was very chewy, like a dog's toy. Both baguettes were inconsistent. They garnished every plate with a tiny bit of side salad and crisps, I still don't understand it. They should just put an option to have salad in the baguettes but this might be too much for them to handle and might make things even worse. We were not very happy with this cafe, 2 weeks on, we still talk about how bad this place was. They truly excelled in providing an unforgettable experience.
Great place for coffee, a bite to eat, lunch or meeting friends. Highly recommended. Cosy, friendly & comfy sofas.
A hidden local gem! I held an event here and was not disappointed the food was superb, presented in a warm cosy friendly atmosphere. Exceptional service, very attentive and professional. Coffee house in the day, wine bar in the evenings, I will definitely be coming back here!
