I stayed at this hotel on June 3-4, 2019. There was a note in the room that stated there was construction happening starting at 7:00 am but, in fact, the noise of the construction started at 6:00 am. The ads stated it was luxurious bedding and it was normal bedding that I would have for my teenagers. Pillows were normal, sheets were normal, and blankets were sub-standard for a hotel room that says it is high end. The bed and mattress were basic, not high end. There was no black out curtains that most high end hotels have to block out the sunlight in the morning. The television's volume did not work in the unit I stayed in which was annoying. Otherwise, the place is in a good location, it is a secured place, and smelled nice. Not sure if I would stay there again, unless I wanted to stay there for several days. Michael

Wonderful. Eberything a b&b should be. Great facilities and rooms. Great host. Esspecially liked the fire the host does at night. Those little things make this 5 star.
Stayed at the Worthington Boutique Hotels with a colleague for a conference in Halifax. The 2-bedroom apartment was very well equipped, clean and comfortable with everything we needed and more! It allowed the privacy we needed and the work space to prepare for our conference. The check-in with Jon was seamless and he was very responsive to the few queries we had to get settled. He is committed to excellence and clearly proud of the work he does. The location was perfect - close to great shops and restaurants and a beautiful walk down to the Harbourfront every morning to our conference. Terrific experience and I would certainly recommend it and stay the next time I'm in Halifax.
I have mixed feelings about this place. It was a little difficult to find because the only signage is a small note taped in the window. I expected there to be more parking because the place is advertised as a mansion. It's really a nice, large house. While there are a number of luxury features like a gym, sauna, and hot tub, everything is kind of cheap. The bathtub was an insert rather than a professionally installed tile. It was nice to have a king sized bed but the pillows and bedding were all lower quality. I would rather have quality items than tons of features (never did turn on my towel warmer). At the price, I might stay here again when I come back. If they were to spend the money on actual luxury goods, they'd have to increase the price to match.
It's a good price for a good stay with lots of extras that you don't expect. Let's start with the pro, it's big with lots of features. Kendra was nice and friendly and she makes a killer gluten free pancake with an interesting fruit sauce. The place has a contemporary design style which was nice on the eyes. For the cons, the place was poorly constructed. Electricals weren't wired properly and the fuse kept popping in the bathroom, there were so many cracks at so many places that could've been repaired with simple caulking. There were obvious places that should've been sanded down properly before painting over it with an improper paint color. There were ducts that's been removed with just dry wall and insulation exposed. The bed sheet was Calvin Klein but the bed and pillow felt like they're made by air! It's way too soft for any human being with a decent back. The bed have certain spots that just sinks all the way down. They definitely need to hire a new cleaner since the room wasn't very clean. Overall the rooms got lots of eye candy, but if you stop (which you have to since you're sleeping there) and look, you'll notice a lot of flaws.
Cheers to Sam and Rebecca for a wonderful hospitable stay. The home is amazing, with fantastic amenities. An absolute pleasure to stay at. Close to shopping,restaurants etc., and a short 20 minute drive to Halifax proper. I would recommend this property to anyone that is planning a trip to Halifax.
