He is supported by his partner Ranee Wilkinson with administrative tasks and sometimes gets her involved on the job. He is the owner operator 15 tonne excavator, prime mover and Float. Ronnie has been a Truck and Excavator operator for over 30 years, working fulltime or subcontracted to businesses such as R & G Elliott Excavations; Tolls (logging); Outback Timbers (on the rail); Greenfreight (log trucks); Websters (log trucks); Tallangatta Shire (Council grounds / roads works); Peter Steinhauser (tip truck and quarry work) His excavation experience includes hardwood logging, shire earthworks, private earthworks e.g. house sites, culverts and headwalls, road construction, clearing and stump removal. Ronnie can operate any 12-36T excavator. His driving experience has been with float and oversize work, logging, general, and truck and dog. "As soon as my feet could reach the pedals and my eyes could just see over the steering wheel, I have been driving some machine with my old man."​ Ronnie loves being outdoors and especially up bush exploring new locations and driving uncharted territory. Owning his own business means his work is variable and continually challenging which keeps his interest sparked. He loves negotiating different landscapes, meeting new people, talking machinery and most of all takes pride in all his work. We have full, comprehensive insurance and our plant have current risk assessment certificates and are consistently well maintained and serviced.
