A must visit if you are in Ueno. They have many kind of beers to choice for. I always look for the limited or seasonal beer. Foods there also perfect for pairing with beer. We order the pizza, chips and sousages. Friendly staff and reasonable price.

Waiters do not speak English. A lot of mistakes. No possible to have bigger table than 6-7 people. Located in the building on the way from Ueno station to the Zoo. In that building there are many other restaurants too.

The Beer Hall Lion Ginza on 7-Chome opened as its successor. Last year, it celebrated its 80th anniversary, as Japan’s oldest beer hall. All shops in Ginza are supported by their regulars. For example, when a new manager starts at the Ginza 7-Chome beer hall, there are dependable customers who tell them, “I have been coming here since before you were born, so I know more about this place than you do — if there’s anything you want to know, ask me” (laughs). So it developed together with the Ginza district and its customers. In addition to providing safe and reliable food and drinks and pleasant service, I think that continuing to maintain a charming atmosphere that customers will continue to like even after a long time also builds Ginza’s appeal. We also value connections with the local community, for example by having staff at each branch participate in the biannual Ginza-dori cleaning. やはり、銀座ライオンでの生ビールは 間違いない。 ビールと唐揚げのコンビネーションは、最強です。 今更、何も言うことはないのですが、普通の居酒屋さんと比較すると、少々お高めですので、早々行けないかも。 大ジョッキのフェアをしてますとの事で、大ジョッキをオーダーしたのですが 何がフェアだったのか？？ よくわかりませんでしたよ。 ちょっと残念(T_T)
