LVS Oxford provides a caring, nurturing environment and since starting there the effect the school has had on my son has been incredible. He is much happier, calmer and relaxed. The school is very well lead with a very strong, knowledgeable Deputy also and over the last year has gone from strength to strength. They have arranged some amazing events for the young people and It has been a privilege to attend...... The official opening by the Countess of Wessex was wonderful for the students and sports day was the most inclusive I have ever attended with them all working together. Celebration assembly was also such a fantastic, yet moving event, witnessing all the achievements, especially Ben receiving his wonderful achievement trophy! Thank you so much to each and everyone of the passionate, dedicated staff. I can highly recommend this school, so much so, we have named LVS Oxford for our other Son next year!

I attended this school a few years ago. Top marks all around except for a certain science teacher pushing an agenda on students. This teacher would regularly tell the class that “females are superior”, she would talk about all of the ways in which men are supposedly inferior and mention it every lesson even if it wasn't related to the subject. It caused a lot of problems with self-worth and left me with a negative impression on the school. It’s a shame because the school itself is great, the rest of the staff are well trained and know how to properly help students on the spectrum. I just don’t think it’s acceptable to let a teacher push such an agenda on children, especially in a special needs school.

LVS Oxford is a leading school for young people on the Autism spectrum. The team of teachers, TA's and therapists make this an amazing place for young people on the spectrum to learn new skills confidence and have an opportunity to shine. My son has been a pupil for the last 2 years and the change in him is remarkable. From a lonely isolated child, the school and its team have helped him turn into a confident young man. A warm, welcoming school with a lot to offer Autistic students.

Changed my son from a depressed teen who never left his bedroom, to a teen who now has a reason to get up in the morning, enjoying school and accademicly doing so well. After no education for 3.5 years (now yr10) will be ready for GCSEs next year. Never thought the impact of a school with well trained staff could have a dramatic positive impact. Highly reccomend this school.
