I wouldn't say it's tasty just really normal. With this price I would like to try out other restaurants. Sorry.

Reasonable price with delicious food options. Will go back again. Yum
I would recommend their Peking Duck (3 courses) and bitter gourd with salted egg. Price is reasonable and service is also very good.

Good
The pecking duck here is moist! We had the duck three ways, pecking duck complete with handmade wrap, green onion and cucumber slices and the traditional sweet and savory sauce. The second way was leftover duck saute with cabbage. It was so sweet from the cabbage, meaty and savory from the duck. The third and last wat we had the duck was in the traditional soup. There were glass noodles, bamboo shoots, preserve mustard green and the pecking duck bones. It took a bit of time to get to our table, but there's a great reason for it. Normally in pecking duck restaurants, the duck bones are all gathered to make a huge pot of soup. However, for this place they put each order of duck in its own pot to stew. It takes much more time, but for me the flavor felt more refreshed, don't get me wrong, the duck is fatty still, but the soup has a refreshing taste that I never had in other pecking duck bone soup. We also ordered several of their vegetarian dishes since our host was vegetarian and they taste amazing. There's a lot of thought that went into each dish plus the high power gas stove and great skill made for one of the best pecking duck experience I had in awhile. If you get the chance order the red bean paste, or azuki paste pancake with sesame, it is only one of the best dessert in the world when fresh and got out of the kitchen. The complementary chocolate bon bon is wicked as well. It's not what you expect at all! It's coarsely grounded sesame paste mochi with a thin chocolate coating on the outside. It work surprisingly well, you taste chocolate first, then the mochi makes you chew more, and then the sesame burst forth only to melt together with the chocolate to create a new sensation and it kept on filling your mouth because you still have to chew the mochi, it's a clever, clever dessert!!
Local Family Favorite Northern Chinese! Food: Plenty of delicious plates (the soup, the seafood, the fried, the dessert) all with a Taiwanese spin to these originally Northern China dishes! Highly recommend if you're around the area! Location: 10 minute walk from Nanjing Fuxing MRT Station.
