Wood is one of Mozambique’s most precious resources, and we are committed developing this resource locally. All wood used in Dalmann furnishings is from our 26,000ha forestry concession, Catapu, in Sofala Province near Caia. Our commitment to developing Mozambique’s national resources locally and to uninterrupted quality control keeps our production line entirely within Mozambique. Our sawmill and the kilns for seasoning the timber are located within the concession. The Dalmann furniture factory and one retail outlet are in Beira, a second Dalmann store is in Maputo, with a showroom in Chimoio. Nature’s diversity has inspired our designs, and Mozambique’s rivers, our names, with 6 different ranges to choose from, Sangussi; Zambezi; Pungwe; Savane; Dalmann Classic; Gorongosa.
