5 stars for the actual appointment. 1 star reduction for the unrelenting texts and phone calls before. I sent images of script and insurance cards as requested and did not get confirmation of receipt, one text I would have welcomed.

I experienced my first mammogram with Ms. Denise! She was thorough & efficient with her explanation of the procedure. My first mammogram encounter was a positive one thanks to all of the staff at Women’s Advanced Radiology!!

The staff was wonderful and the tech did a great job, but I was told via phone that I should expect to pay 35 co pay when I came. Instead, I was told I owed 361 and I didn’t have the money to pay for it. I had to call my son and get help. Then before the test, I was told that a mistake had been made and I was supposed to get the ultrasound first. If it was normal then I didn’t need the 2nd mammogram which I already paid for and I could get a refund out front. As it turned out I only needed the ultrasound and it was normal. But they would not refund me the difference. Instead they said they couldn’t refund me the difference, they could “refund the entire amount but it would take 21 days for it to be credited back to my card. And I would still have to pay another 103 for the ultrasound. Well I don’t have any more money. I didn’t get paid until end of the week. So you have been overpaid 250 and I’m not happy about how this happened. So, you should be aware and not allow this to happen to anyone else. Deborah Spooner PA-C
