Phoenix Fruit Farm Country Store is one of the best I've ever been to. I grew up in Hardwick down the street from the country store in town. The Phoenix Fruit farm reminds me of going to the country store just to do something and buy something sweet a kid. Now instead of thinking of money in how many penny candies I could buy, I'm now thinking how I'm going to justify another pie. Every staff I've talked to has been awesome and extremely helpful. I count myself extremely lucky to have made it to one of the peach pickings they held this year. The cider I've pressed from their apples has been the best I've ever pressed. Can't recommend this place enough to anyone who wants to support local, loves great fresh produce, and generally is awesome should go here at least once a week.

Phoenix Fruit Farm is the kind of place you patronize if you value the quality and safety of the food that sustains all of us. They quite obviously strive to support and enhance the interdependence of our local food web which we all should be supremely thankful for living here in our beautiful green valley! They have an ever evolving selection of awesomely tasty treats that I personally enjoy being surprised by in addition to their regularly stocked items. The owner and staff are some of the most conscientious and caring people you will ever have the pleasure to meet! If you find yourself cruising down Mill Valley road on a trip or your daily commute takes you past or you happen to live right around the corner even, you really should take a minute and stop by!
I love this store! They have a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. We picked up some peppers, onions, apples, and some locally made barbecue sauce. My wife and I sat outside at a picnic table enjoying a cup of coffee and a muffin. The staff is very friendly, the store is really clean, and the prices are fair. If you enjoy a store with a great New England vibe I highly recommend Phoenix fruit farm. They also had a few craft items inside that are locally made and reasonably priced. Check it out, I think you’ll be glad that you did.
Went there today for fruit... there was no fruit!! We looked around anyway.The store seemed clean and neat, it wasn’t bad. The garlic was all shriveled up. The sign clearly says fruit farm and blueberries and strawberries are now in season, I really hoped to find some. There was nothing but some vegetables for produce. That was really disappointing. I don’t think I will be back.
Cute place. Prices a little high. Like that they participate in the DTA HIP PROGRAM. For those of you that don't know what it is, it's FREE FRUITS AND VEGGIES THRU FOOD STAMPS. Those that don't take advantage, are truly losing out. THIS LOCATION will be OPEN ALL YEAR. CHECK IT OUT. LOTS OF LOCAL GOODIES! SUPPORT LOCAL FARMERS!
