If not for them, I would not be who I am today. I was there many years ago due to adolescent actions. I was the only one in my counselors lineup in his 15 years of working there, who called a year after getting out and claimed our bet winnings. The deal was if I stayed out of trouble for a year he would buy me dinner. He made this deal with all the individuals he had on his caseload. He kept his word. And so have I. Now, more than 20 years later I still am thankful, thank you Kurt (not sure if you still are there or not, nonetheless, thank you and thank you all so much). Now I am a the Reverend Priest of a new (all starts with a dream) Tomorrow Land Church! We are all faith. If there was ever a way to help others that are there, I would have great interest. Wonderful DOC facility to work in. The staff work together very well, safety is always a priority. The medical and mental health team were amazing to work with! The BEST job I've ever had! I only left due to having to move out of state, otherwise, I would've retired there!
