One of Belfast's best kept secrets, this is a wonderful building with history going back in time to the beginnings of Belfast as a thriving port. Very much worth a visit to see the paintings and sculptures that are on show.

Visited here as part of the European Heritage Open Day 2016. The spaces inside are truly amazing. Highly decorative and opulent, there's so much to take in. Not sure if all the rooms are normally open to explore so you might need to ring ahead before visiting. Worth seeing!

The harbour commissioner's office is a beautiful building inside and out. The strain glass windows are themselves with looking out for. Check out the US flag window which due to the date of the building (1847) has only 13 stars.
