We were priviliged to be allowed entry into the drawing offices by our guide Chris, of Titanic Walking Tours. While the building had not been prepared as an exhibition at that point (and therefore would hold less interest to an \ordinary\ tourist), the experience of walking in true Harland & Wolff surroundings was immensely gratifying for a lifetime Titanic buff. Seeing floor tiles that had originally been intended for the Britannic, now scuffed and worn, gave a very real connection to times - and ships - of yesteryear. The wings of history, indeed!
