GFP Company is owned by the family Šovran who entertains a long tradition of working with construction and industrial machinery. It all started with Marko Šovran who worked in the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce, as an adviser in the General Association of the metal industry, as advisor and coordinator manufacturers of construction machinery. His son Miroslav started working in the company Marsonia commerce that was part of SOUR Đuro Đaković Slavonski Brod. After the collapse of the Yugoslavia state, Miroslav established a joint venture company Jelšingrad Belgrade in 1992. Mixed company Jelšingrad Belgrade cease its work in 2005, and Miroslav Sovran and his son Darko Sovran founded the private company GFP doo Beograd with the aim of expanding its sales program, and further investment in the quality of services provided. The company headquarters moved to Magnolia Street 27 in Belgrade, and offices are located in Knez Milos 82 in the building of Yugoslav River Shipping. At the end of 2008, the company buys land in Leštane and begins to build a sales-service area of ​​600m2.(Currently we do not use full capacity) In late 2010, the entire company moved to Leštane the new office space which can result in conditions for the full development and growth of the company. As originally planned, and after 10 years since its founding, the company GFP doo becomes a market leader in sales of small machines for finishing works in construction and industry. The company is managed by Darko Sovran which continues the family tradition with the already set standards.
