We had a horrible experience at this place. We were only there a little over 2 months. We paid them 4,000 dollars to enter, and then paid approx. 9,000 for the 2 months of rent. We left because my mom needed a higher level of care in a nursing home. We left at the end of January after having paid all of January. They said we owed 15 additional days since we did not give 30 day notice and we could not pay that. My mother did not have the money. Several months later my mom was getting VA wartime survivor benefits every month and the VA asked for proof of stay at Bellerose. I spoke with Tracy (Executive Director) and she said she would get me a short-write up of my mom's stay. Well, that never happened and she never returned any more of my calls. I left approximately 5 messages over a period of several days, and she did not reply. I guess she saw my mom owed them some money, so they were not going to help. That is what I think. My mom stayed at 3 other assisted living centers, and they all complied with the VA request. Bellarose did not. Her level of care there was terrible. Had to go to the hospital twice in the two month, in my opinion because of neglect. I was warned about going there and did not listen. So far my mom as been in 4 assisted living/nursing homes and this was was the worst by far. Update: BellaRose did call me and got me the information I needed for the VA. Jennifer Rose also left me a phone voice message wanting to help. I appreciate getting this resolved.

Bellarose senior living is a beautiful community. Residents and staff are very happy and friendly. The food is nutritious, the lifestyle directors create fun and interactive activities and the best thing is seeing the smiles on everyone's faces. It really is like one big family.

This place is horrible. I would not kennel a dog here, let alone a human being. My mother did not last two weeks before I had to have her moved. They gave her the wrong medications. They overdosed her on one medication. They didn't give her a shower for 6 DAYS, despite her repeated requests for one!!!! They couldn't read Drs orders so some times they would give her 1 pill and sometimes 2, but never be consistent. Their activities consist of BINGO that you have to PAY for! Everything is an upcharge!! She would call for assistance and have to sit and wait for help. She said the food was horrible and she wouldn't eat it. I could keep going on and on. Please if you love your family the way I love my mother find anywhere else to take care of them!

The staff at Bella Rose is wonderful! Rachel.... The head LPN ... does a fantastic job of Quickly addressing issues and expediting Actions to ensure excellent care of the residents.! Rachel is a compassionate professional part of Bella Rose who can Be trusted for always putting the resident First . Rachel also does a great job Of communicating well with the resident's Family members.. I would highly reccomend Bella Rose for Your loved ones.

Moving our elderly parents into Bellarose AL has been a surprising delight! Mom & Dad were constantly on edge in their own home, until we moved them to Bellarose. Now they are extremely happy and joyful in their new home. The staff has been nothing but helpful and pleasant and taken the utmost care with our parents. We highly recommend Bellarose!
