After reading the reviews I decided to have an evening of great food near home. The atmosphere was pleasant but upon being seated I asked why there were no barriers between the back to back booths due to the social distancing in PA nor was there social distancing being practiced when seating customers as booths were back to back with people in them. When I asked the waitress she replied with the fact that the waitresses were wearing masks and did not answer my question. getting on to the food. I had crab cakes, french onion soup, potatoes , and carrots. My husband had prime rib, potatoes, and carrots and there was juice from the prime rib all over the plate. The food was much less than expected with a bland flavor throughout for the both of us . I don't see where this restaurant gets such high ratings. we dine out at least weekly and I must say this was the worst meal we have had in a long time. We would have been better off at a chain steakhouse.

Awesome place, fantastic food and wonderful service. Just a great vibe all around.
This is a hidden gem! I wish I would have discovered it sooner being that it is so close to my house. You get top quality meat and seafood. The crab cakes rival the seashore. The staff was courteous and COVID protocols were being followed. One oddity is that they require you to preorder certain items so browse the menu before you go to ensure you get what you want. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
They took this double cut ribeye and shoved it in my mouth. Then said, tell me that's not the best piece of meat you ever had down your throat. Honestly, nothing tasted better in my life. Thank you Sonny's Prime.
Very disappointed. If you want to have prime rib, which we were so looking forward to, make sure it is reserved ahead of time or you do not get it. When I made the reservation nobody informed me of the policy nor was it highlighted on the website and even though our reservation was early there was NO prime rib. The bartender paid more attention to our table than our own waitress as far as the service went. The steak was good but wouldn't order again. The only reason for a 3 star rating was because of the bartender or it would be a 1.
