This review was supposed to be written awhile ago when my sister Sheila gifted this room to me (when she had to cancel) and my memories were fresher. What a lovely old Victorian manor to make my stay in Belleville more interesting. The owner was so interesting and easy to talk to. She kindly shared her story of what it was like to run her bed and breakfast as we dined in a beautiful turn of the century dining room. The food was amazing. I loved the bubble soaker tub and all the nooks and crannies of interest around the house. I may have stolen a few ideas for my own B&B in Ottawa. What a great place to stay. I'd go there again in a heartbeat.

I've stayed here a few times now, and Sandra, the Inn Keeper is fabulous. You receive a personal access code to the Inn and can come and go as you please without disturbing anyone. The building is gorgeous. Very well maintained. Spacious rooms, decorating is slightly outdated, but is quite charming. Breakfast is the BEST! Home made, I swear she is a gourmet cook (even if she wont admit it). On a nice quiet street, you can walk down to the restaurants on Pinnacle St and down to Dundas and the water if you want to. The beds could use an update, but still very comfortable. I highly recommend this place for a business or pleasure visit to Belleville. Especially knowing what the other hotels are like in town. Private parking in the back. A few times when I have stayed here, I've been the only guest, it is quite a safe building and feels very homey. This place is a gem!
Sandra was a lovely host, rooms were immaculate, large, bright. She knows the best restaurants, just a few steps away. The best of Belleville!
