I love the food and the atmosphere. A great place to meet friends. Just a well kept secret.

Service was awfully slow and we were basically the only customers. Managed to forget the coffees and was not worth the price and wait.

romantic ambiance, great wine, free wifi. Light bites are amazing as well.

Stopped in for brunch using a recently purchased LivingSocial voucher. After reading a couple of reviews and knowing that downtown Bellevue can get scary busy during the holidays I made sure to make a reservation for Sunday brunch. Got there and we were the only ones there around 11AM on a Sunday. The server was quick to get us seated but that was as quick as the service was to be for our visit. Once food and drink were ordered it took several minutes to get them - mind you there was only one other table with 3 people there. Sensing things were going to take a while we ordered right away. We ordered one an omelette and a hash. After waiting close to 20 minutes (at this point there was a table that had filled out to maybe 6 people, and another table with 2 people, and we had ordered prior to these folks showing up) our food was finally presented - and this was after we had been staring at our food for a few minutes from our table sitting at the kitchen window....by the time we got our food it was lukewarm at best. I will give the chef credit for coming out and checking on us. However the food was just so-so. It shouldn't have taken so long for what amounted to country potatoes mixed with slightly overcooked sausage, and 2 over easy eggs on top and an omelette. The other disappointment was that when I looked up their menu online it showed that it would be served with a mini brioche and Chocolate Orange Butter - what we got was a stale mini cranberry orange muffin (probably from Costco). All in all I'm glad I didn't pay full price, but kind of wish I hadn't paid anything at all and instead went somewhere like Chace's Pancake Corral or Maltby Cafe where they may be crowded and busy but the food is fresh and served in an appropriate timeframe.

The good things first... The decor and atmosphere was very good. The garlic bread slices they gave us before we ordered our dinner. They were not too overwhelming in taste, and warm. The food presentation was good. And yea.. that was it. I had a Groupon 20 for 40 dinner so I decided to "splurge" a bit. I ordered the filet mignon, along with a french onion soup. The bread on top of the french onion soup was good, but the soup itself was really salty. I ordered my filet mignon medium, when I cut into it, it was completely well done. When I told the waitress about it, she perhaps wasn't expecting a problem (and it wasn't her fault), but she didn't explain she was sorry about it or was gunna replace it. When the second plate came, the steak temperature was good, but it was too salty. I was too hungry by then, and I polished it up in 5 minutes. The mash potatoes was good, green beans were good too, but the whole portion was just too small. I saw my friends' portions were a little on the small side too (though to be fair I'm a big eater). The service was also poor/fair. There was only one waitress for the place, plus a waiter who fills water (doesn't take orders). It just felt a little hectic for the waitress. For example, when she brought the lamb dish that my friend ordered, right before she was about to set it down she took it back to the prep area. My friend didn't see it cuz she was behind him, but it turns out she forgot to serve up his soup. (My friend did arrive late and ordered late though). Also the waitress wasn't too accommodating when we asked if we could get split checks. She complained that we should have told her in the beginning. My order came out to be 37 that was covered by the Groupon. I only had to pay tips and tax, but in the end I paid 10 bucks. So that's total of 30 bucks... for a not tasty and small dinner, with poor/fair service. _and_ I feel bad for asking to make me another steak. Bottom line: don't come here for dinner.

Not worth the money. Service was terrible and had to remind the waitress about our coffees 30 minutes after ordering.

The place is out of business and Groupon is still selling coupon with this restaurant.
